I7-920 2.66Ghz Help

Hi everyone

Just a quick question.. I have been collecting parts for my sons first PC
and have everything but the processor now i used to own a i7-920 so i know it will be good enough for his needs and perfect for the spec of PC i'm building him.

My question is whats a good average value on these processors these days?
I have been offered one that is SLBEJ DO stepping i believe that has easily overclocked to 4.1Ghz and has images to prove but the price is £100

I have no reference point to price it and dont want to be taken for one

They can be had for slightly cheaper, but £100 isn't too bad if you know it will run at 4.1GHz.

I've seen 920's for around £90, but if you know it will get to 4.1GHz then the extra £10 might be worth it.
