Ok first of my system was up and running for a few weeks no issues, then i had a powercut and my (now found to be fault) UPS kicked in and blew up my coolermaster 700 psu.

I sent both the UPS and PSU back to where i bought them from (not ocuk sadly) now i had a brand new 700watt psu and i bought a new APC 1500va UPS to replace the crappy plexus one that blew up.

So i plug the new gear in the great the pc boots up without any issues.... its on for about 15-20mins and then it just shuts down...

i open it up check the connections, try booting up again.. its in the windows loading screen and it shuts down again..this time i unplug everything reseat all the power connectors and sata cables and try again.. it now will not even post it get stuck powering on for half a second then off for half a second then back on again.. all fans spinning up then off etc...

Now i'm a little perplexed and not sure what to try next.. i do have a friend lending me there spare i7 920 co which i shall try tonight. Anyone any ideas ? thoughts on what might have happened ??

yeah sorry forgot to mention that, i tried a cmos reset and i also tried with 2 sticks, 1 stick and no sticks (to see if i could get an error code off the mb) but it still only stays on for half a second then off for a second then back on for half a second, never posting to bios and no error codes on the boards Leds. :(

ok well i think my MB got a drop of the cr*p that came out of the powersupply when it blew on it...
