Hi guys,

I currently have a i7 920 d0, is it worth upgrading to something else since this is pushing a good few years now?
 
I was in the similar perdicament with my setup, thought about changing. I'm probably going to see how Sandybridge E compares and pricing when launched in the comming months (not 100% certain when).

Are you running overclocked at all, I have mine at 4ghz without any issues.
 
heya, nope running at stock sir - looks like its suppose to be coming in November.

I have 12gb ddr3 tripple channel ram, will I have to change this do you think?
 
The fact that you have to ask somebody else if YOU need to upgrade speaks volumes, let alone if it's for something as trivial as "it's pushing a few years"
Sounds like money burning a hole in your pocket.?
If it's running at stock then you could try overclocking it.
The time will come when you need to upgrade, when it does you'll know about it. :)
 
Hey guys I have lots of cash. Should I waste it? I used the search feature and it sent me here since there was already a thread on it and all.
