Well, I recently put together an i7 rig myself, using the same mobo and CPU as this bundle, and I used 6GB of Corsair Dominator 1600MHz RAM, and my existing graphics card, PSU, hard drives, case etc etc from my old rig, but I have spent about 2 weeks now trying to get this system stable!!!
I have never had as much hassle setting up a rig than I have had with this one, if I knew I was going to have all this trouble with my system I would have just purchased this bundle knowing that it would have been tested for instabilities before I got my hands on it!!!
My rig is now solid as a rock, but it took me long enough... I currently have my D0 clocked to 3.5GHz, as my current cooler is really poor at cooling this processor, however I have booted into Vista @ 4GHz with 1.25v, but the idle temps were around 45c, and after only 3 minutes of Prime95 they were in the mid 90's... So I backed it off to 3.5GHz until I get myself a TRUE or Noctua...
If I could go back in time to just before I bought my components, I would have definitely went for this bundle instead of buying parts seperately, as it would have been a lot less hassle for me, and I would have been able to start enjoying my new rig straight away instead of spending 2 weeks fiddling with BIOS settings!!!!

the bundle means one thing
i do the hard work so you dont have to
i install the chip so there is no risk of the customer bending pins/warranty voiding the board
i check all the items function correctly
update to the latest BIOS
tighten up the overclock to make it voltage efficient
if you got the components seperatly and then found a fault with say the board/ram/cpu then you would have to put your build on hold
at least that is a risk we can take for you so that it just works when you get it
