i7 air cooling?

Hi, looking to buy an i7 to improve my current rig, the e7400 is starting to show it's age indeed.

I really don't want to move into a watercooling solution, mainly because I often ferry my rig to and from university and I imagine it requires more maintenance then a monthly dusting clean up.

What type of overclocks on a d0 stepping i7 with aftermarket air cooling, the specific cooler I plan to use is a Titan Fenrir.

On a side note, can anyone recommend some mobo's that are crossfirex compatible and are known to be good overclockers?

Thanks for any replies in advance.

Regards,
Paul Smith.

I use an asus p6t v2 with crossfired 5770's, very solid board that can get me to 4ghz easily. For day to day use i'm at 3.8ghz with 1.1375v, the titan on low (bios silent setting) and temps top out at 65-67 linx stable. The Fenrir is a great performer especially at low rpm where it really shines.
