i7 build for £1,000

Hey guys

I'm looking for an i7 build for £1,000 firm (my original budget was £800 but I can stretch to £1,000 so thought I should put that here)

I will be using this computer mostly for work - I do SEO which is a lot of web browsing / tools / excel

The reason I want the i7 is I multitask what I would consider a lot will have multiple communication channels open eg. skype / slack / email clients and playing videos / music in the background while working.

I also do quite a bit of video stuff so I think I would benefit from the i7 but please correct me if I'm wrong.


I would like to be able to game I haven't played in years but it's nothing major a bit of casual COD and WoW. But if my build doesn't have the budget to do so now that is fine but I would like to add a decent graphics card maybe come summer when I have more time. So I guess upgradability is important to me.

I will also be moving to a dual monitor set up in the near future so would like to be able to do that? I'm not really sure if that is something that effects the parts I need

I have mouse / keyboard / monitors

Hey Dave prebuilt if possible and I would like the opportunity to overclock but by no means a massive deal

@giblio would it be worth putting in 32gb of RAM or is that overkill?

It depends really, how much video work would you be doing as having more ram would certainly help a lot. Personally for the extra £22 I'd go for it just so that I'd have it and wouldn't need to worry about upgrading in the future.

Ok I will upgrade the SSD to 250GB and get a phantek case, do I need anything for wireless wifi under the networking tab?
also any advantage to having the SSD have the OS on it (Solid State Drive **For Operating System If Selected**) ?
 
Ok - with regards to networking section will any result in a better speed / more reliable than others?
going to order this tonight so thanks for your help

and why is the SSD for the OS more expensive than a regular SSD?

also what is the difference in the motherboards? eg. the various ASUS Z170s? is it worth having a more expensive one over something else?

currently thinking this know it's £200 more expensive than I said but I really don't want to have to keep adding things and making it more expensive long term
