i7 Build Mini Blog....

ive solved the fan connections now after a good read up, got all the fans through one molex to the psu, i take it everything else plugs into the hard drive, and the pink one is the e sata port on the front, im making progress haha, how is it possible to speed up and slow the fans down then if theyre plugged straight into psu?

for what that case is, and cost, its pretty bang on! nice work man, ive had my rig running about a month and a half? i already want to move to a PC-80 with another gpu and watercooling lol xD. nice work, and damn, im I like your paint job in the house :)

Did the case come pre-installed with that 700w?!

Also, this should be in. Case Central > Project Logs. I'm sure a mod will move it
 
Very nice, similar set up to me.

I'm not sure about having the screens like they are, as you are facing the joins in the middle? Also 5.1 speakers could be confusing like that, or are the rear speakers going to actually be behind you? :)
 
hey mate, got mine all built and windows installed last night, 4 hours it took me, quite proud of myself tbh haha, ill take some pics and post em when i got time, still got to install all my drivers etc, what drivers have you installed on yours? mobo drivers? gpu drivers? dvd rom drive drivers?, read somewhere its best to let windows do it, is that true? im gonna create a new post to see what ones i need to install. just looking at your pics tho and the cable from psu to the mobo (the smaller one) where have you got that running? cant find aanywhere for it to go out of the way. looks by the pics its behind the psu and up the left hand side of the mobo, correct? ive also remove the rear fan and put my h50 cpu cooler fan and rad on there and installed that fan on my case side cover, thinking about putting it back on the h50 rad so its a push pull set up but I need 4 screws that will be long enough. yours looks the ****** tho mate well done.

Im on a swivel chair so i can face whichever i tend to face the left hand one directly and use the right as the secondary monitor, works great. I dont really tend to take advantage of my pcs 5.1 surround sound but when seated the rear speakers are actually behind my head.

I used the graphics card cd and havnt got round to anything else yet it will be interesting to see what people suggest on your thread. And yeah ive poked it behind the PSU and up the back, much tidier. Looking forward to seeing your pics!
