i7 Build. Parts shortlist. Thoughts?

Hi,

Here is my shortlist of parts I've selected for my upgrade planned for next week.
I've also included prices incase someone knows a better product for a similar price

CPU: i7 2600K - £220
MoBo: ASRock Extreme 4 Gen 3 Z68 - £155
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Black LP 8GB 1600 - £48
Cooler: Silver Arrow or NH-D14 - £59 or £65
Case: Corsair Obsidian 650D - £126

Whats the main use of this PC?

If its for gaming then a i5 2500K is cheaper and the same speed in games as a i7 2600K - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/288?vs=287

I'll be gaming as well as converting Blu-ray files to mkv/ipad.

I think I'm gonna swap out the ASRock for the ASUS Z68-V Pro.
Just read a few things about BIOS problems/freezing issues.

Anyone know when the 2700K will be out?
Not sure if I should hold out.
Would love to have a 5GHz chip

What makes you think the 2700K has any better chance of overclocking to 5GHz than a 2600K?

It just seems to be the same processor with a 100MHz clock bump.
