i7 build troubleshooting

Anyone got any idea what the problem is?
when I power on the LED keeps flashes and the fans turns slightly and it does this every second or so, but never actually boots. the "clr coms" button on the rear panel is also blinking. I've checked over everything and it all seems normal..

The memory is in slots 1, 3 and 5 as it should.

However, the CPU needed 2 four pin molex connector, one of them i used had all 4 rounded off corners- does that matter?
