Ok after talking about whether selling or building my i7 setup i have decided that im going to build.

My main use is games and some encoding now and then but a lot of multi-tasking such as alt+tabbing etc.

i7 920 cpu
Intel smackover dx58s0
2 36gb raptors
are my i7 components

Current setup which im going to break to build I7
Antec 900
Coolermaster 600w psu
HD 4850 512MB
1TB Samsung f1 sata
E7200 @ 3.5ghz
MSI P45 NEO-F
2gb geil ddr2 800mhz
Corsair airflow memory cooler
Xigmatec s1283 push-pins
Running windows XP

What i need:
Specified ram that will allow overclocking of highest potential with that mobo/cpu combo (I have corsair airflow ram cooler)

Specific bolt thru kit for xigmatec s1283 for i7 unless its a bad cooler for i7 chips but its awesome for my e7200

Operating system as windows xp doesnt show more than 3gb :( unless you only provide me with 3gb of ram im currently using 2 but i think 6gb and vista or windows 7 sounds nice if theres a performance/speed difference

Any tips or anything different i should know when building an i7 setup

I already have the i7 components, i won them in a competition and i heard i wont sell the mobo for anything nar which it retails so im going to build an i7 setup instea as i only need ram. My budget is cheap as possible but i dont want to cheapen if its going to limit my overclock because i want the max overclock possible

ideally i want to spend as little as possible and get the best performance so only thing i need is ram ddr3 to be compatible but not cost too much

can i have another confirmation please :) just with the 1.65volts being higher than my board recc and it doesnt contain spd or whatever that is? will it affect perofmrnace/overclock i want about 3.6-4ghz

edit - doesnt matter going to sell these and buy a better car :P saxo 1.1 ftl
