I have the i7 4ghz bundle just installed and need a few pointers,Firstly, the GSATA Ports- Can I plug in any typical SATA HDD to these? If so, will there be increased performance or are they exclusive to solid state or other types of HDD/

Loving the H50 cooler- It's set up at right angles to the case exhaust fan intaking air from outside which is mainly exhausted straight out again. Temps are arond 35 idle and 58 load but this is at stock not o/c'd

I've been advised to put the pump on the CPU fan header which is opposite to the Corsair manual which says any fan header. Since I dont have a 4 to 3 lead, I'm thinking to just plug it into a molex power line. Would that be better, or does running the pump full speed raise temps in itself?

Had a few problems with shutdowns which this will hopefully solve, any help gratefully received!

Don't connect the pump to a header that try's to vary the speed. You can use any HD on the GSATA connectors, but i perfere to use the intel controller in the south bridge.

Thanks, I now have a problem booting up, it appears the boot configuration is corrupted, it won't repair using my Vista disc and wont start at all, maybe all those starts and stops have messed something up. I put the pump on a standard molex power supply to avoid it not working at full speed rather than trust the bios
