Hi,
This is my first i7, so i obviously want to get it right.
Now i've done many pcs before, and i've checked the circle cutouts on the cpu are matching, so technically from this picture it looks right?

Though when i go to clamp it down, it seems as if it's an extremely hard clamp, and am worried i'll damage the cpu (as i've never fitted an i7 before!)
i just wanted to check the clamping is very tight on the cpu to the mobo, and wanted to make sure its meant to be like this before i put the clamp on :)

ok cheers, i was like like wtf, never had such a tight clamp before :p
i will be posting a build log once it's near completion, effort atm!

what i also found really weird is having no actual pins, just the copper (i assume) connectors the cpu & mobo, i was pretty sure my previous q6600 had actual pins? :D
