i7 help if you please

When i installed my spinkee new i7 going back a few now, booted into vista and sat there grinning at the 8 cores in taskmanager. Recently I have noticed that I have only 4... I havent disabled it in bios, but no longer seem to be running HT. How the monkees can i get it back to running HT? I have searched high and low, not much seems to help New intel chipset drivers perhaps?

reinstalled inf file and bios, now my quad core is dual core....
