Hi folks, first post so apologies if it's in the wrong spot etc.

I'm currently looking to pick up a fairly powerful laptop. The most I'd really need it for is using music based software such as Reason with a few vst's and plugins. I'd also maybe like to play the odd game but will rarely use it for that purpose.

After having a bit of a search, I'm quite certain I'd like to take this:

Lenovo Z570
Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM Quad Core (2.2 GHz, Intel Sandy Bridge Architecture, 6 MB L3 cache, Features Intel Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz)
15.6" (Lenovo Glossy, LED Backlit, 1366 x 768 Resolution Screen)
8GB DDR3
750GB 7200rpm
Blu-Ray
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M 2GB
4x USB 2.0
2.5 kg

As far as I can see, the CPU seems to be one of the high end ones in mobile systems which is very useful.
With it being on offer too, it seems like a pretty packed system for around £540.

My only question is whether there is anything else I should consider before I go for it? Ideally, I'd like to stay in the £550 range but will be willing to add a bit more if it makes a difference.

Thanks :)

Edit: Link removed, thanks.

That's a cracking deal. Poor screen though, expecially for the size. And as above, suggest removing competitor links.

Thanks for the speedy reply, is there any reason that the screen is not great? Is there another type of screen I should be looking out for? Or is it more the resolution on the screen?

I should probably also mention that I've been using an old HP for quite a few years with an 8400GS on a 14.1" WXGA High Definition BrightView Widescreen Display 1280 x 800.

I was referring to the resolution which seems low. Not horrendously low but that appears to be the weak point in an otherwise powerful machine.
