i7 oc help

Hy guys

I'm really struggling here to oc my d0 920 on the blood rage. I've followed some guides and think i've got my head round most things but still the damn thing bleeps constantly every time I make a change. I've even gone for 3ghz

can anyone walk me though my first real oc please?

thanks, have read and absorbed similiar. Am swtable at 3.6 now, needed 20mv on core and vtt, ram running at stock timings just over stock clocks iirc.

have asked for some help from some of the guys at @~@@L:

(cometitor forum) where there's a BR overclocking guide and club! I'm thinking I need to update the bios before I rma the board. Reason is as soon as I add any volts to IOH it completely locks up and doesn't post at all, needing lots of use of clr cmos and force reset. annoying as seems I've got an ok to good D0.

p06, will post when home on monday for ya. From memory i upped bclk to 180 and left everything else at auto. booted into windows but wasn't stable. Added 20mv to core and vtt and all good.

have you oc yours?

I'm running P09 .... its best bios.
Currently running at 4.3GHz HTon, gonna try and push a bit further over the weekend. Got very strange chip, runs cool but needs high volts to oc well

nice, i'm a total noob to overclocking. Did you flash the bios using fox live? I've never done it any other way than good ol floppy disc way back when.
