i7 or Q6600 with 2 gtx 280s

I already have a leadtek gtx 280. Im selling this pc and im either getting a i7 and us the gtx 280 i have. Or ill buy another Q6600 rig and buy another gtx 285 and runit in sli with the 280. What will be best on my 24" monitor and what will keep its value better. Im mainly using it for gaming and video editing.

i dont think a gtx 285 will work with gtx 280 in sli? nvidia cards have to be matched unlike ati where u can mix n match

I've read a 285 wont work with 280 in sli too.

im pretty sure 285 wont work with a 280. ocuk have a deal on 280 atm not sure how many are left. if u have the cash to buy a gtx 285 buy a gtx 295 and sell the 280

thats only my opinion though. im sure others wont agree
