i7 or xeon?

Then why not just buy new AMD for less?
10fps is noticeable.

200fps on mine craft to 210fps would not be noticed. Just because you would notice a jump to 50fps on battlefield don't assume everyone as the same needs.
My old system was very happy in the high 90's most of the games I play so 10fps would no noticed. I am changing parts in my system because I want others option not because it was struggling.
My old system dint have pcie3 with out a new CPU and there was no point getting a new CPU to stay with z77, also usb3 and the LAN drivers was poo at best so I changed boards meaning I had to get a new CPU. My old system was run at stock and maxed out the games I play so I know I don't need a k chip and an over clock.

I have always used AMD until the stage where a stock 2500k can still out power there stock flagship chips, I have no plans on running a 200w CPU when my 87w CPU will out power it in the app's and games I play
