i7 Spec - Just CPU and Mobo

Hi there,

I'll be ordering my i7 stuff over next few days. I think I will go for the i7 920 CPU but I'm really undecided on the motherboard. I have 2x3GB Mushkin 1600MHz going onto the board.

Which X58 would you go for:

Gigabyte DS4 X58
Asus P6T Deluxe
Biostar TPower

Your thoughts please!

Of those the P6T. For Gigabyte the UD4P or UD5.

I think in your position as a reviewer you need to get a known quantity board, so for me I would have to say get the ASUS P6T Deluxe with the 920.

The biostar tbh!! Got one here waiting for the rest of the components now. Anandtech stated that it looked like a winner but they haven't released the full review yet.

Just been on the Asus website - http://uk.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=179

The V2 is there at the top, I'm presuming this is an improvement over the standard P6T Deluxe. Any ideas when this might hit the shelves? Is it worth me just getting the P6T that's available now rather than waiting?

Should all be here friday, just waiting for my ram and cooler to get stocked. From what I've seen, 4ghz seems pretty easy on the board and 4.5ghz has been acheived on air.
