just wondering which way is best to apply arctic silver 5 paste to an i7 processor ?
Arctis website say to put a line of it across the cpu and then fit cooler onto it and move it side to side to spread it .
Well this is way i did it but others on the net say to spread it out with a credit card or something like that , spread it thinly .
As i have to send my bundle back due to being unstable , just wanted to find out for when i have to refit the cooler .
Any help most appreciated
