Got 3 in mind and my first one will be the Corsair.

Corsair 3GB DDR3 Dominator PC3-12800C8 1600MHz (3x1GB) Triple Channel DDR3 (TR3X3G1600C8D)

Each three module set is tested at 1600MHz
- Packaged together immediately following system test
- Tested together at 1600MHz, Vdimm = 1.65V, at latency settings of 8-8-8-24 on X58-based motherboards.
- SPD programmed at: XMP 8-8-8-24 values at 1600MHz
- JEDEC standard 9-9-9-24 values at 1333MHz.
- 3072 Megabytes of DDR3 memory
- Three matched 1GB modules
- 100% tested at 1600MHz in X58-based DDR3 motherboards
- Lifetime warranty
- DHX technology provides maximum cooling

Or
G.Skill 3GB DDR3 NQ PC3-12800C9 1600MHz (3x1GB) Triple Channel DDR3 (F3-12800CL9T-3GBNQ)

Or
OCZ 3GB DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Gold (3x1GB) Triple Channel DDR3 (OCZ3G1600LV3GK)

1600MHz DDR3
- CL 8-8-8-24 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS)
- Gold Z3 XTC Heatspreader**
- Lifetime Warranty
- 1.65 Volts
- 240 Pin DIMM

Well the G.Skill is CAS9, so you may as well rule that out.

And then OCZ can sometimes have issues running on ASUS boards (not sure if it's still the case with X58), so that leaves the Corsair.

Ordered :)

I went with Corsair as well,

How are you getting on with your setup? I've not had much time to play with around with mine, but I am stable @4.1 with Turbo mode enabled.

Just waiting on the ram to be delivered tomorrow and i can start my build,it will have to sit under my desk for now as im having my Lian li V 2000 powdercoated white and grills cut out for the watercooling.

Do you really think there is a real world difference between CAS 7, 8 or 9... if you do some digging, you'll see that there is very little difference between the different memory options when used with an i7 and x58.

Check the graphs being pushed by Kingston above... less than 8 FPS going from DDR3-1066 to 1866... and I bet the price difference is over £200.

I'm very surprised by the FPS results they are showing for the DDR3-2000... that is not linear scaling compared to the other results, which makes me think that they have also overclocked that system, or done something to skew the results.

There is next to no worthwhile difference in going from 1066 to 1800+ for most applications. If Nehalem wasn't DDR3-only, there'd be no point in upgrading to DDR3 at all. Whatever you gain in clock speed, you lose on latencies.
