Hello,

It's time to upgrade my PC. Was thinking about the following:

Intel i7 860
MSI P55-GD85 (Any advice on mobo, has to be USB3/Sata3)
8GB DDR3 (Not sure wether i pick 1333 or 1600 and CL7 or 8
Asus 5850 (already got this one ordered)
Corsair HX750W
Optiarc AD-7240S-0B
Samsung F3 1TB (already got 2 x 500GB F3 in Raid 0, this is for data)
Scythe Mugen 2

Got around 1000 pounds to spend.
Just need good memory (OCZ?)
Is this Mobo good?
Any more advice on the system itself?

Im gonna use the system a lot for gaming and video editing. (Games such as Counterstrike Source, Battlefield Bad Company 2, COD Modern Warfare 2)

:) TY

If you're going all out i7 I'd rather go for X58. 6GB of memory is enough for anyone at the moment with room to upgrade to more if you need it in the future. Also if you're going i7 on that platform you're seriously reducing any potential upgrade paths in the future. However if it works out cheaper than going X58, you have no interest in crossfire and you don't plan to upgrade until you need a new system, then I'm sure it won't matter too much.

EVGA P55FTW is said to be a very good MoBo, but Asus is very good, and if you go the Asus line, get a Maximus III Formula, said to be very stable for overclocks.
