i7 upgrade question

Think its time now to upgrade to a i7 i like this bundle a lot

Couple of questions to any one that as this heatsink from the bundle

how quiet is it or would i be better of getting this heatsink which is renowned for being quiet.

also would they fit in a antec 300 case or is a new case goin to be required.

the akasa heatsink should be fine

Id look at this bundle and add the 2nd cooler (noctua) you linked, its a much better mobo as the UD3R one only has 4 DIMM slots, and whilst the akasa cooler is OK the noctua is brilliant. Then you can clock it yourself and you should get it to or at least near 4 GHz

Hi Karl, i got the bundle with the nero cooler which was overclocked to 3.6 and 3.8.

All in all ive been delighted with the components, the cooler and the general speed of my rig now.

You will not be disappointed and read any reviews of the nero and its rated up there with the best I7 coolers for half the price.

Best thing about the bundles is the peace of mind that the oc is stable and all the bios fiddling has been done in advance, the aftersale service the guys provide on these if you need to reset your bios after a flash etc is faultless.

That akasa is a terrible cooler. I have the noctua in my antec 300 with about a centimetre to spare so yes it does fit.
