I now have nearly finished my upgrades to x99.

new spec's

i75960x ( currently at 4.4hz )
H110
Ram Dominator 3200mhz 16gb
GTX980 Classified, ( Sli coming soon ,,,,second is in the post's lol )
Asus Deluxe Motherboard

So far iv been testing and overclocking with the "auto 5 way system" which is very nice, but i know i will get higher results by manually overclocking.

Overclock so far is 4.4hz max vcore 1.37 (But auto OC backs off 0.2hz once max values are hit ,,,hence = 4.4hz )

........(Max 4.6hz & max 1.37 vcore ,,, was used in the auto overclock to achieve above )

my guess is max Vcore ACTUALLY used is 1.35 /6 ish

I have tried getting Vcore lower , but I can not, any lower than this and highest OC is 39hz ?

This Vcore seems to high ! PLease can you help, what am i missing ?
I see many testings of the auto overclock hitting 4.4hz at vcores around 1.30 ???

Any help is welcomed

Thanks

As Ian says 1.3v for 4.4 is within normal/average range on a 5960x and 3200mhz DRAM (highest official supported ratio). Mine is fairly exceptional and does 4.4 @ 1.2v.

Run HCI Memtest Pro to test your RAM is stable at 3200 also. One thing you can try to lower vcore is to raise VCCIN (input voltage), but keep tabs on LLC, don't exceed level 8. This can help lower vcore as long as you're not right on the edge of stability.

Thx for the input and info here guys.

I now have upgraded to a Titan x all other specs still the same.
But im have issues that i dont understand, mostly lower fps than i was expecting .

Example,, friends of mine have 980 and 970 and will get locked 300 fps in csgo ( totally not needed i know ) but i get only around 270 ???

I dont understand this as my cards and cpu show blow theirs out of the water ? i have the evga titan x oc at 1385mhz boost clock and the cpu oc @ 46hz all stable and cool.

my only thoughts on this issues is that my ram is not right for the titan x ( 16gb @ 3,200) so im planing on buying some 32gb g-skill 2,800mhz to replace with as iv read issues with the titan x running better with more than 24gb of ram ?

but im basically clueless as to where i should be looking to fix this issue?

thx if you can help

mate, don't base your systems performance on a game that runs at 300fps this is probably a difference in the titan drivers or your CPU not running at full clock speed because it has no need to.
benchmark your friends PC against yours in a modern game? and changing your memory to 32gb will have no impact to the performance of your system in games/benchmarks, you can of course have a incompatibility with motherboard and memory but graphics card and memory i wouldn't of thought so......
