hi guys, i'm not the greatest with pc's so you will need to bare with me. i have a i7700k cpu with a H100i cooler, i am looking at overclocking my cpu so iv'e firstly done a stress test, my cpu has already been running hot recently without much happening which i was slightly concerned about when i did the stress test it was sitting at 100 percent load at like 85-90c it then went to 95 and the pc froze... i restarted it and haven't done anything but this has worried me even more. where do i go with this and what potentially could it be. thew RPM on my H100i never seem to go above 1900 even when really hot and at max load. I Also must add i feel like the pc has been way louder recently and goes really loud then quiet then really loud again and the same thing happens over and over.

Thanks any help would be massively appreciated.

Hi thanks for the reply just trying to figure out what half that means at the moment. My computer cpu and the h100i are around 20 months old. When I have work load of around 12-15 percent it sits around 55-60. Is this mostly likely to be an easy fix?

Sounds like a issue with the pump in the H100i, have you set it to maximum in the Corsair software or in the BIOS?

I haven’t actually this could be a good shout I’m looking at soon getting a i9900k and a h150i pro. So probably won’t bother replacing the h100i
