i9 watercooling help

im getting i9 7900x was wondering will 2 g2 slim 360mm radiators be good enough to keep this cool when overclocked in a custom loop or would i be better going for a single 480 thick this will decide the case i get so any help would be appreciated

Rule of thumb is usually 120mm per component + an extra 120mm.

im using 2x 420 rads in mine and it still can get warm, its inline with a 1080. im sure you will be fine, just make sure your fans are up to it.

@james_2k What do you count as warm? I've seen a few 7900x's at 4.3 (-2avx offset at around 1.05volts) hit 80 degrees on real bench / prime with similar rad configuration to yours. Interested to see other results =)

i mean mega warm hehe. it will max out the temps at 4.8 avx. easily. really needs a delid to be honest.

however, for games etc i'm happy with the 40-60 range it sits in.
