K, were 99% sure of booking a holiday there very soon. What nightclubs do you all recommend for someone who likes hard dance music?

We also like nights like federation and kissdafunk but not really funky house. More like Scot Project and Mark EG

Also, has anyone else booked around late August/early September?

Es Paradis. Beautiful.

How much are the clubs to get in, in Ibiza? I've found a few quite cheap deals but don't want to end up paying something silly to get in the clubs whilst out there.

Worth every penny for the atmosphere man.

i was out about 2 years ago, and then it was anything from 20 euro to 40 euro, but as said above worth every penny.

We went to a hotel and get friendly with the entertainers (sp) who worked at the hotel, and because they work on the island they got in free +1 with there Hotel ID badges so most nights we got in free :D

Its also worth picking up the flyers that the guys hand out, they usally have a few quid off etc.

Don't go to Ibiza if you are disgusted with the prices of the clubs and drinks.

Go with the mind thought that from the outset the whole holiday is going to cost a bomb. It costs a lot... fact. If you don't like it don't go!

I'm off to Bossa on the 10th for my third trip - email my msn address if you want info etc :)

I'd recommend We Love Space, such a brilliant club.

Yes Es Paradis is nice at the water parties, but the aftermath is often gross.

I have this problem with one of my friends at the moment, since we booked in July I have been saving up and she emails me yesterday saying that she has no money for the hotel or to spend, not going to clubs in Ibiza is as much of a travesty as asking to go to an RnB night (which is what another one of our crowd wants to do).

God its going to be hard work!

they're not silly, they're worth every penny and more.

Yeah... I agree they are worth every penny, because every time I go out there I want to go to certain nights, but other people who aren't interested in the club culture or DJs might think they are silly prices - which they are really.

Different people like different things, I mean look at the cost of some of the concerts and gigs around at the moment. Us clubbers would think that they were silly prices but that is easy to say especially if you are not interested in them.

Like I said - if you don't like it don't do it :) (which you probably won't!)

good point, id rather pay £15 or £20 to have a cracking night with top DJs than go to see darkness or robbie williams play any day. Who is still dancing at 6am to robbie?

As said, if you are going to Ibiza you need to be ready for the huge price tags on the big club entry prices and the drinks once in there.

Some examples :-

Thursdays - Cream @ Amnesia (Tiesto, PvD, Marco V etc) - around 40euros for a ticket, drinks prices 7euros for water, around 15 euros for a Vodka+Redbull/Southern Comfort + Lemonde etc.

Tuesday Night - Extreme Vs. Euphoria @ Es Paradis (Anne Savage, Lee Haslam, Tidy Boys etc) - Approx 22euros entry, 10euros for Vodka+Orange etc.

Tuesday Night - Armada @ Amnesia (Armin Van Buuren+ Guests) - around 25euros entry, 12euros Vodka+Orange

I cannot comment on clubs on the other side of the island (Ibiza Town side) cause I have never been out around there, always stay in San An Bay.

Basically your big nights, like Cream, Judgement Sunday, Manumission (dont think its on this year though) are your big bucks nights. Then you have your cheaper ones like Armada, Extreme Vs. Euphoria, La Troya etc which are moderately priced. Some nights you can get in places like Eden for next to nothing when there is nothing special on. But you are always gonna have to pay around 10euros minimum for an alcoholic drink.

When I go Ibiza with my mates, we always hit the West End first and get some drinks round there before headign off to a club. For 20 euros you can get like 4 beers and a pitcha of cocktail or a bottle of peach schnapps or sommet like that. That will serve 2 of you. Check out a bar called Strikers as well in the West End. 10euros for as much as you can drink for an hour!. Then you can head over the street to Amsterdam Bar, just a small bar with seating outside but attracts a big crowd. Have sat out there smashed with mates singing at the tops of our voices and everyone else around you will join in.

GOD I LOVE IBIZA. Wish I was going this year!
