Eden Opening Party (SAT)
Pure Pacha Opening Party (FRI)

Which one would you go to?!

Sadly, we're just missing the Space Opening Party - the line up for that looks amazing.

As much as i loved Ibiza, its a rip off!

My and my mates spent about a thousand pounds in one week inc flights, hotel (which was pants) and food and going out.

it doesn't have to be thought, ok the club entrance is a massive tax and so are the drinks, if your one of those who doesn't dabble. I know a few groups of people who have just booked for late june and they have got £200 deals for a week.

Hmmm, can you turn up and get into the opening party for Space? Me and a load of friends have a yacht for a week round majorca, might be worth sailing over, doing an opening party and chilling in one of the bays

Heading back first week in Sept (for the 9th Time)

We stay in a Villa (total holiday costs approx £2000 - so £400 each) for all 5 people (flights, Top class Villa with Private pool and Orange trees etc and the weeks Hire Car) - and we spend very little money on food/drink as we are about 200m away from the Hiper Market.

Have to say - I love the Island. As you can see from the amount of times we have returned. Yes, the clubs are expensive - and the drinks in the clubs are a rip off (but as we only go once in the week now) - it's hardly going to break the bank. The True Ibiza is a far cry from the Beer stained streets of San Antonio & theres loads of Other places to see.

If you eat out (and drink) in Retaurents - it will be roughly the same price as the UK (if not more expensive) - The days of cheap Spanish holidays ended this year. The only way it will be any cheaper is if you buy the Supermarket stuff and have Barbacues or cook yourself. It's the same all over Spain - and Ibiza will be just the same. Clubbing is definately a rip-off there - but the market is there, so the clubs can basically charge what they want.

Ibiza is what you make it. If you want it to be a bad holiday - or you don't research where you are going or the town/Hotel you are staying at - it's your own fault - it's a truely beautiful Island (and a lot nicer and cheaper than Majorca) - I know as I have just returned from there for the 3rd time ;)

As i said, I have just returned from a Majorca Villa holiday and the Prices everywhere have increased shockingly ( I would say about 30% if not more). Nearly every tourist we chatted to was on about the prices (with a 2 course meal at night for 5 people costing 200 Euros sometimes) - I honestly don't know how a self catering family with 3 kids will ever be able to afford spain again to be honest (as it was bad enough for us in a villa cooking our own Breakfast and Lunches)

We went in July last year and the cheapest price we got was about £280 for flights and accomodation (3 to a room 3star, self catered!). We handed over the best part of £200 to the holiday rep to be part of the 'teens' thing. To be honest that wasnt bad because we didnt know what we were doing and managed to do some nice stuff with them like boat to another island close by etc that we wouldnt have found otherwise). Then the tickets into places are £30 a pop so thats 5 nights we went out £30 a pop. The drinks in the big clubs are crazy so we stuck to getting drunk in San Antoni but the booze are so crap that they make your body hurt!!

Oh and we found good food was not cheap either, same as UK really.

So £280 + £200 on 'teens' thing plus £150 on tickets plus about £10 a night on drinks before the big clubs thats £50 and then about £10 a day for food. Thats around £800+ Thats what we spent.

Maybe if i did it again we would spend a little more on a nicer hotel, and go Bed and Breakfast, and try to find cheaper places to eat. And perhaps buy booze from the local shop and drink in the flat (or on the streets lol) and go straight to the big clubs after that when your mashed. Prob wouldnt spend the £200 on the teens rep thing either this time around.
