Hello all,

I have an old Thinkpad R51 celeron etc. notebook for linux. Do you think Ubuntu with gnome will run smooth or Xubuntu will be best?

Gnome runs great on my T42 and T61. Bit faster chips in both, but the T61 has the same Intel graphics and runs compiz great.
