Hey guys, i been given a IBM thinkpad 770 no idea on spec but its got a 6.1gb harddrive and 64mb of ram. when i try and turn it on, it loads but the screen is blank, a had a faint screen before of somethink but was very hard to see.
i hooked it up to a other screen and that doesnt want to do much, just gives me a few numbers.


any idea what i could do? cheers guys

Any interesting beep codes on boot? That can tell if it is a video problem or not?

Can you give me some idea of the numbers you're seeing, I should still have access to the Hardware Maintenance Manuals. On the underside there should be a barcode label with a seven digit machine type/machine model number (XXXX-YYY) can you give me a note of that too.
