iBrickr Problems

I managed to restore my phone to 1.1.1 and am in the process of getting it out of recovery mode. Unfortunately, being on Vista x64 iBrickr always hangs up and doesn't work at all.

I tried again on a XP SP2 machine and iBrickr keeps giving some IE scripting error messages, before finally displaying an error message full of error codes relating to some kind of I/O error?

What's left for me to do?

It goes along the lines of "0x7620812b" referenced memory at "0x76630812b". The required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O error. And then it lets me either debug (which hangs the machine) or terminate the program.

Edit: Never mind, I ditched iBrickr altogether and went with AppTapp. It did the trick and pulled my iPhone out of recovery mode.
