A question for you.

I am playing with overclocking my 2500k, currently at 4.5GHz and I have tested it several times so far with different settings. But basically:

The test is 10 passes of IBT set to maximum and the order I have done these tests are:

Auto volts
Manual vcore at 1.34 - LLC set to 4
Manual vcore at 1.33 - LLC set to 5

And everytime I drop the volts and increase the LLC (the LLC up is required to get 10 clean passes) the gigaflops through put is going up. I can't remember the figures at the moment, but it's something like:

Auto - 108
Manual 1.34 - 116
Manual 1.33 - 119

Why on earth would that be?

The temps are always being kept roughly the same and the ratio hasn't changed.

LLC combats Vdroop IIRC, therefore your CPU gets more/cleaner voltage under full load.

Maybe you are getting less error correction with improved voltage?
