Hello, i have recently built my pc with a watercooled cpu however running IBT at maximum i am getting very high temperaturs arround 70's. I will be replacing my thermal paste soon but what else can the problem be as these are really high for a stock speed 4670k.

My loop = Pump/res - Rad - CPU Block - Pump/res

also i have heard that IBT is not very accurate and a lot of people use prime 95 but what setting should i use with prime 95, it looks a lot more confusing that IBT :D

Thanks in Advanced

to be honest i just click start when prime95 starts up and that's it... just make sure you stop it again because it hides in taskbar. temp very high sounds like misplaced cpu block

Haswell - you'll need to delid to get lower temps really.

As for IBT vs Prime ... I'm happy running IBT at maximum for every day stability test. Prime95 is extremely synthetic and you won't run at anywhere near the load that Prime95 would place on your machine so I wouldn't mind if my rig was IBT "Very High" stable and not Prime95 stable for everyday use. Prime... it's great to push the CPU to the absolutely limits but you're never going to get there in real life usage.
