So a few days ago now I swapped out a CPU cooler for a slightly newer/better one and it was only on the CPU for around 3 weeks.

I applied IC-Diamond to it and when I took the cooler off a few days ago the IC-Diamond had turned into a very rubbery substance.

I'm guessing this is one of the reasons OCUK don't sell it anymore ?

Using ic diamond 24 here and it's fine, tube must be 5 years old too

I apply a small half rice grain size in middle and let the heatsink spread

I changed the paste on a 7950 and used it on that too and it's great dropped 10c load temps on the 7950

I think it only goes rubbery when it's cooled down, what were your temps like on the 4790k then ?
