Gonna need some new thermal paste re-applying to my i7 860,And came across two diffrent IC Diamond,s.

Question is....Is the 24-Carat tube any better than the 7-Carat tube? are there any performance tests between the 2?
Ive never heard of this brand before.

The 24 is more expensive obviusly,But its a bigger tube...But then again by the time i will use it again it will have probably dried up! and thats why i was thinking just go for the 7 carat one as its a smaller tube and cheaper!

What you think chaps?
 
I'm not sure. I just bought some today (the smaller tube) i didnt realise they were different types i just assumed the other one was more expensive because of the size.

God dammit.
 
I've used both and didn't notice any difference between the two. Temps are good even on a heavily clocked Q9550, cooler at load than AS5 that I previously used idle wasnt really any different.
