iCal sync on multiple iPhones

Let me set the scene..

We have 2 iPhones (3gs and a 4) and one macbook pro.

On the macbook there are 2 accounts, one for me and one the wifes.

Is it possible to have both mac accounts iCal sync with both iPhones?

Or...

can both Mac accounts share a single iCal so we can keep the calenders sync'd?

You can do both. It is even easier if you set-up a google email and then use that account to sync all email, calendar and contact details into a single repository.
