hi :)

what would be the best way to wire up a carpc to the speakers? we were thinking of a preamp to take the signal from the soundcard on the pc, then 3 power amps, one for the front, one for the back and one for the sub in the boot. does this sound logical? or am i barking up the wrong shrub?

2 channel sound is fine no need for any fancy 5.1 stuff (suggestions on 5.1 welcome though :D)

planning some serious pimpin' and ICE is first on the list

car is a skoda superb not a small euroblob chavmobile :)

You can get 6 channel amps. If you're short on space... and it would be easier to install one amp of course.

Get a decent soundcard (crime not too on a car pc) and I'm sure you could do away with the pre-amp too.

that sounds ok- best to keep it as simple as we can :)

soundcard would have to be USB or PCMCIA cos we're using a butchered laptop
