ICE Problem

Hi All..

I replaced my head unit with a different tone, but the sound is really fuzzy and generally CRAP... so I replaced it with the original head and still get the same.. possible speaker problem?

I didn't notice a problem before I changed head.. however, I didn't use the radio much so can't say for sure it wasn't there before.

I don't think so.. all I did was to take out the black and brown connectors from the head and plug them into the other head.. nothing more.

knowing nothing about ICE... how would I check for that?

Or am I better off taking for someone to look it?

Didn't change anything at all.. Car only has 2 speakers at the back, no front speakers.

I've done some testing, if I keep volume fairly low it sounds OK, if I turn volume up I get the distortion..

- If I fade from left to right, left sounds fine no distortion, plenty bass, as I would expect it to sound,

- Right sounds very tinny, no bass at all, and is distorted.

faulty speaker maybe?
