So some of you might remember my thread on starting to install my carpc.

this is how far i have got so far. planning on getting my amp in there the week i get back off holiday. but not really sure on the wiring untill i get that far. I have the amp wiring kit in and it comes out behind the pc in that pic.

i have one problem. in the future i will want to install a sub in there. these are the ideas i had

1) Build a fulse floor up a bit so i can fit one in the floor.
2) Build it into the courners of the install so far

tbh i dont have a clue how to do it. as i will need a ported box etc wont i??

i also need to fill in the corners in that pic. any ideas??

You dont need a ported box, it depends what type of bass you want. If you want tight bass, then dont port, if you want it to drop like a released nuns knickers then port it, but tbh unless your build is completely sealed (which its not from that pic or from what your saying) air will still escape into the boot anyway.....you never know, it may actually give you the right balance between tight punchy bass and depth if you just install it....

ok next question is where should i install it??

can anyone give me a rough depth of a 10" sub, just so i can work out where it will fit to
