Ice Skating in Bristol?

I went ice skating on a school trip to Bristol... This was about 2 years ago and i can remember them saying its gonna be re-furbished. So yeh there is an ice rink.. i just dont know where

There's an ice rink in the centre of town, I took my neice there last year, it's a total dive!

I guess ice is ice though, it's the only place I can think of nearby that has an ice rink (although I'm not a local so there may well be alternatives)

on the plus side they do ice karting there :)

Agreed, we drove up on a whim a few years ago as my other half misses ice skating (being a londoner where there is an abumdance of places to coming down here where we have Plymouth, which is pap) and whilst the place was ok it was good fun. But with my experiance of ice rinks they've never exactly been posh :P

And my eyes lit up when we finished and they started putting cones out, then I heard the noise of engines starting up :) :) Looked good fun.

So many people in Bristol from ocuk, let me know when you're skating!

Most Sunday evenings and occasional Wednesdays just for the 'lol' factor. What Uni do you go to? I go to UWE. Also, scarily enough I live about 20 mins from telford

yeah the ice rink is next to the academy but if you go around christmas time they usually have the one at the top of broadmead "the magical ice rink company" which is a lot better (in my opinion)

i'm in my final year at uwe as well

By the carling academy at the bottom of white ladies road near the mandrake and the NCP car park form what i can remebere. There is Bike Tech bristol near it, big red doors thats my shop that i just sold heheh.

I no longer live up in bristol but will be moving back

The Hatchet is right outside.

I wouldn't know about the Platinum Club ;) The one opposite the fish and chip shop and pub that does open mic nights for comedy. Bunch of Grapes I think it's called.

Weirdos such as me and Rilot :p

edit- oops not Rilot, getting confused with names  , but there may be some other OcUKers
