Hello,
I am new to the Mac world but would like to share this about Facebook chat on iChat - Link.
01- First, find your Facebook username. Next, Open iChat, then select iChat
» Preferences and click on the Accounts tab.
02- Click on the + (plus) sign to add a new account, with these settings:
» Account Type is Jabber Account
03- Account name is [email protected], and enter your password.
04- Click the drop-down arrow to reveal Server options. Enter chat.facebook.com as the server name.
05- Enter 5222 as the port and click Done.
06- Click Done again, and you are good to go.
