iCloud and older OSXs

Hi guys,

I'm on the original Macbook CoreDuo and currently running snow leopard (OSX 10.6.8), unfortunately this spec Macbook is unable to upgrade to the current OSX and iCloud does not seem to be working with snow leopard. Mail doesn't grab my @me emails and iCal does not sync with my IP4.

Does anyone know a way around this? It seems silly for me to buy a new mac just to have icloud working properly.

How about using a different mail and calendar app? Will 3rd party apps work with iCloud?

lol yeah I wouldn't have upgraded to icloud neither if I knew!
Only my iphone is push email now lol.
