icloud help please,

hi, can someone give me some advice.

I do not have a iphone, but my friend does and he is not that IT savy.

We have just logged on to his account on www.icloud.com from my windows laptop.

We can find his phone etc. But None of his contacts are on icloud from his iphone.

have set the icloud up from within his iphone with contacts etc and pretty much everything under icloud settings turned on under settings/icloud on his iphone.

But when you I went onto the www.icloud.com website on my laptop no contacts are there.

Any ideas how to transfer them from iphone to icloud?

I would go into the iCloud settings (On the phone), and flick the contacts switch off and then on again. Then I would resync to the cloud as required. Hopefully that'll give it a kick in the right direction

Are his contacts already synced from a mail account (such as gmail)? If so, they won't sync with iCloud too.

Yeah thats a point. To check that he has iCloud accessible contacts go to Contacts, click on the back arrow to go to groups and click all iCloud. Any contacts that should be viewable on the website will be in there, anything else will be just on the phone.

You can also see from here if he has contacts synced via other places like G-Mail.
