ok, I've just tryed to resurect ICQ on my PC, but I'm loath to install the latest vertion (I like 99b and damnit I'm gonna do my best to use that!)
alls going well but I need to know what the servers are now that AOL have bought the company.
it used to be icq.miribils.com (or summit like that) does anyone here know what they are now?

I still use ICQ, I've never changed the default server that the installer puts in for me, which is login.icq.com.

I've not used the official ICQ client for years, I'm a Trillian or GAIM user these days.

login.icq.com port 5190 are the settings that Trillian is using atm.

From what I remember the protocol has changed significantly since 99B was in use so I wouldn't be surprised if you can't use 99B anymore.
