Both computers are connected to one another (we can access each others shares). On the computer with the modem i've run the Network Setup Wizard to say: This computer connects to the internet, other computers connect to this one etc... On the client (my laptop) its setup to connect through a gateway, hub or computer.

But I cannot connect :( Have i missed something?

Cheers

Just bridge the two connections on whichever computer has the internet connection.

That is, enter network connections, highlight both (wireless + internet/lan whatever) and right click and choose bridge. Has worked for me in the past.

I can't get that to work as the modem is in the Dial-up section of Network Connections. It says i need to selection 2 high speed connections.

In theory... ive read that ta ;)

Im getting that BT Wireless hub thing on Monday, i was just hoping i could use this till it came. I guess not :(

I've got it working, but only set as Open, WEP Disabled! Grrrrr
