Hi all
I'm looking into the possibilty of creating a downloadable calendar of events etc at work so people could download it and import it into outlook etc.
The diary is put together on our intranet site which is built with sharepoint.
Reports can be done to produce the correct listing of events etc that we want to publish. This can be exported into various formats as below:
xml file with report data
csv (comma delimited)
pdf
mhtml
excel
tiff
word
I have obviously discounted, pdf, tiff and word as my sources for producing an ics file, but I'm not sure what would be my best route for exporting the data in order to create a downloadable and importable calendar.
Once exported, how would I go about creating an ics file? I've tried googling but not had anything very helpful come up.
Can anyone shed any light on how I might best achieve what I want???
