No he bought a Corsair 7000x
Was 900d that shop damaged
Was supposed to go to an ocuk members house
For some help with tube bending
Would have been a total downer if he took everything over there
And opened the box to find parts of the case missing
Probably 30 minutes drive too
Hopefully he looked in the box before leaving home
Though would still be ###### off if parts were missing

Aw #### mate that's terrible
You took everything to start building?
Or opened it before you left?
What's the plan now?
Possible to buy a case from somewhere local
Then sort out sending that back for refund?

Took everything to start building but hadn’t checked the case as it was sealed and the description said that it was box damage not that half the parts were missing.

We still managed to sort the loop but had to take it all apart again so I can return the case.
Word for wise Amazon are complete aresholes and are refusing to exchange, replace the parts or cover the difference of a new case as it was discounted.

Glad you were able to do it
Even if had to disassemble it afterwards
Yeah kind of guessed you didn't look in the box
Saw in your photo it was sellotaped and sealed so no reason
Not to just shove it in the car unopened
Don't really buy stuff on Amazon though my other half does constantly
Had a couple issues but they replaced with no problems
Didn't even ask to return the item
So guess it's down to who the actual seller is on Amazon?

Yeah common practice with Argos that trick
Returned loads of stuff to Argos
Sometimes they quickly look in the box
Others they don't even bother
But they never take it all out and check for all the parts
Have bought stuff and found it had clearly been opened before
And parts been missing
Yet sold as new

Shouldn't matter if it was discounted
You must still have rights

according to them I don’t.

Hmmm not a lawyer
But thought if buying at distance unless it's an auction
You have right to return
Or if you used a credit card let the card company deal with it

right to return is not the problem. It’s them refusing to exchange for the same price, replace the missing parts or credit my account with the difference so I can purchase the case without being out of pocket.

That's trickier
With a conventional walk in store
Anything like that situation where the management wouldn't budge
I contact the complaints department or whatever fancy name they call it
Public relations department etc
Have mostly been successfull doing that
Though not tried it with a company like Amazon that are principally
Online only retailers except with BT
Even got BT not only to resolve the issue, but they sent me
A lovely marks and Spencers hamper too lol
Worked with Tesco's too when the store manager said your TV is 13 months old
Warranty is for 12 months
Got new TV and kept the old one which worked perfectly
Other than the remote wouldn't turn it on

They have a store in bluewater so may make a scene.
They’re saying because it’s from their warehouse department (didn’t know this when buying as it was on the app and didn’t tell
me) that their process is different.

I literally want a like for like replacement.

I even told them to chase up the customer who returned it as it’s obvious that they stole the parts.

Amazon are so rich they don’t care if they get ripped off and they equally don’t care ripping off the customer by not checking their returns and selling an item that was returned previously without sharing the information instead labelling it as damaged outer box only.

So with the expert and talented help of liam this was some of the loop installed.
Had to change the res on the pump to a smaller one as it wouldn’t fit in the case.

parts missing from the case

4 x 140mm rgb fans
Corsair commander pro
3 2.5inch ssd bays
Cable management Velcro straps
Cpu backplate cover
Screws and accessories box

If they now have a physical store that's better
That's one I did at the ford dealership
Went in on Friday and Saturday when it was busy
And told everyone in sight not to buy anything from there
After they hadn't done my cam belt change in 4 weeks
The manager tried to shoo me into his office for a cup of tea lol
I was having none of it
2 days of doing that and my car was suddenly fixed lol
