Got 3 SP120s and 2 SP140s which look awesome ( one of the SP120s I use as a push for my heatsink )

Only thing I'm not too keen on is the iCue software. Seems to take me a while to be able to store my preference. Let's say I want all blue. When I log off my PC it reverts back to a different colour.
I usually get there in the end but would wish for better GUI software from Corsair

I'm fairly new to RGB but happy so far. What do you guys think of the software ??

It's great in concept but unfortunately Corsair keep releasing it with bugs. Most of the time it works but it is a good idea to NOT update it by default rather just update it when you are trying to fix something.

I know this sounds soo simple, but I was struggling to get it to keep the profile I wanted too. Eventually found out you have to drag the profile to the top of the list you want as the default one.

Hope that helps!

I switched to chroma, miles better imo. Only downside is it doesn't control the fans, I use bios for that now instead and a couple of sata pwm fan hubs.

My hubby persists on updating it, and then moans when it ultimately needs resetting. I have it just for my RAM and Keyboard, but I only update if there is a fix for something I use. luckily thats pretty much never :)

It is bloated, I have the last build of Link for my AX1600I but only run it if I want to check something.

I tried it again last week for my 3090FE for the LED control but it got canned in 1 day.

I like & I hate Corsair RGB. I like it in the fact that you can buy RGB fans, strips & RAM & that it all works in unison & that it should work on any DDR4 motherboard regardless of it having RGB or A/DRGB ports (it doesnt use them) Expensive but you get what you pay for. I HATE icue. It works when it feels like it despite updating all the time. Those updates solve nothing and is about as pointless as a broken pencil.

I agree - it's a pain, but there's no real alternative if you want rgb and fan/pump control. Find a version that works and only update it when it breaks something else...

I only use it for my Corsair AX860i PSU monitoring and for the LED control on the 3090FE, for now it seems to be behaving ok.
I also use Gigabyte RGB fusion for my ARGB motherboard/case fans and apparently that's bugged but for me it's fine.
The only thing with ICUE is you have to have it running for the effects, with RGB fusion you can start it, choose your saved colour profile then exit the program and the RGB effects stay until you reboot, of course you can set it to start with windows if you like.
