Hey all, i've decided to go for an Icy blue style theme for my new computer upgrades which include watercooling the system, I will be using a Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H motherboard which has some nice Ice Blue heatsinks on it and i'll be using the Mayhem Pastel Blue Blueberry coolant as that is a nice Ice Blue cooler when it is used with clear tubing. My case is a HAF-X and I plan to add the megaflow/cm storm sniper 200/230mm blue fans as they dont seem to be too dark a shade of blue, but I was wondering if people feel the shade of blue will be a bit too dark on them, and if so, what would be a good way to brighten them up? i'm planning on perhaps adding white LED strips to the outer edges of the fans so they start out a darker shade of blue in the middle then get increasingly brighter on the outside, but if they are already a fairly bright shade of blue through a mesh then I of course wouldnt need to do this, but any tips and ideas would be greatly appreciated, especially if someone has their own ice blue theme going on already, but thank you for the help :)

Well the sometimes dark areas work well on sort if icy themes as it looks like the shading but if you back it up with the white lights i think it will look fine.

Bitfenix do some LED strips and the light from them looks like a really light blue that may help with your theme

If your going for blue and white braided cables etc i wouldnt worry about the dark blue casting on your parts as these will really help stand out.

Dunno if i have helped but post some pics when your all done and good luck!
