Don't think there's a thread of this..

ID games on Steam now. Plus 10% off as a welcome celebration. The ID super pack looks very tempting at $62.95 (£30ish in real money), Doom, Quake, Hexen, Wolfenstein. Funny how the enemy is joining forces.

As much as people on here seem to hate Steam :) I love it, all these games at my fingertips and no need to keep piles of redundant CD's/DVD's :)

I might just treat myself to a couple of games :)

That is kinda suprising seeing as activision does all their stuff.

The selling figures from putting it on Steam must make it worth their while, to bite their tongue and do it.

Same here. I've got Doom 3 but its the 3 disc version, its a lot of faffing about to install it. It's a good offer the mega pack, but i've already got Quake 3 Arena, and Quake / Q2 as well.

I'm very tempted to get the super pack. Can someone tell me though whether Doom 3 supports 16:10 resolutions and particularly 1680x1050?

I only ask as the demo didn't.

Yeah I think its good, cant say I've had any problems with it, the sooner we move to complete digital downloads the better imo.

Just got this pack myself, very nice to see all the old Raven games in there as well. Great value at around £35. Any word on what kind of enhancements the Doom engine games use? I'm used to using jDoom, and it would be nice to see something similar.
