For Christmas Id like to buy my Mother a large print.

She has said that she would want a large map of the world. Id like to find a nice artistic, or accurate map that looks good.

I think she would like to use it as a little reference at times to the places shes been to. So I suppose a detailed one would be best.

Anything that is large and would look good on the wall would be ideal.

Anyone know any good sites that sell this kind of thing?>

Try the RNIB if you want really big.
I havent checked their site but I know from my job that they do a lot of large print stuff. You could also ring them and ask if they know where you might get one.
:)

You could Rasterbate one on photo paper, then laminate it, I think that would look good.

For something like this look at Union print shops which are capable of high gloss prints, maybe A2/A1 I would look at getting it done on the plotter at work for you but its A0 and pretty crap quality.

We've got one a good four and a half/five feet across in our kitchen, Mum can't remember for sure but they think it came from Smiths? It's just your normal atlas type map but it's good and big, I like it :)

I had 3 or 4 over my bed when I was younger. I think they all came from either National Geographic specials or once I think the Times.

Thanks guys ill look into all them links.

I think a black and white one would probably suit the room the best. Gonna keep an eye out :)
